This is not Avon related this evening.
I want to share with you all, I have decided to Challenge myself, and do a Climb for Charity in September.
I will be climbing Mount Snowdon, in Snowdonia, Wales on Wednesday 16th September, 2015.
I am doing this for Alzheimer's Research UK, and would be so grateful if you would sponsor me, so that I can make a difference to vital research for this debilitating disease.
I have never done anything like this before. I love the outdoors and would class myself as just a walker, nothing more, so this Challenge is something I am in training for, and putting all of my heart and soul into this.
My friend Paul, who is my personal trainer, and close friend has been taking me on weekly Hikes, Steep Climbs in the Saddleworth, Dovestone Areas.
I am thoroughly enjoying it now, some climbs are hard but its pushing me to achieve that ultimate goal.

This charity is very close to my heart, as I have had family members and friends with Dementia and Alzheimer's, some of whom have passed away, others still suffering with it.
